We checked out Wallflower for Brunch after hearing really good things from friends last weekend.
Tons of veggie / vegan friendly options and a great menu to satisfy anyone’s preferences.
Super friendly service and a cool, casual environment featuring local artist’s work and plates / mugs you’d expect
to see at Grandma’s house.
We’ll for sure head back to Wallflower for another tasty & healthy “home-cooked” meal soon!
Pulled Beef Dip
Flavorful and super tasty with the Au Jus and toasted, garlic bun.
Penne Pesto
I’m always skeptical of ordering a pasta dish outside a “non – Italian” restaurant, as I really do prefer my pasta cooked even more
“al dente” than most, but this veggie creation sounded so delicious I had to give it a try, and am so glad I did!
Well cooked pasta, flavorful firm tofu and sweet red onion definitely worked.
We added a little seasoning (s & p) but overall this was a delicious, fresh dish we’d definitely order again!
Vegan Mac & Cheese
I don’t think I’ve ever eaten a Vegan dish and felt so guilty!
So creamy and cheesy, I definitely know where we’ll be heading when craving a
“Healthy Comfort Mac & Cheese!”
Pasta was well cooked and Vegan Cheese Sauce was really tasty.
Personally, I’m a “ketchup with my Mac girl,”
If you’re a purist a little s & p will really elevate this dish!
